about

SIGNAL_000003
These are the rests of a burnt arkye from an ancient era where the space between the evolution of data and the surges of chaos melted down expanding into a mercurial eternal entity.

Coeden’s solo debut on Wetware Echo, EMBER sounds as a factory tour of some alien goblin heavy production plant. Metallic clangs hoover over swamped basslines, like piston hammers hitting resonant organic matter.
The visual zine is centred on a cybermagic world inhabited by ancient cosmic entities, sorcerers of the technosphere and forces without name. A tangle of folklore, videogames and philosophy scored by telluric and lysergic sounds.

Daeargryn begins as a descent into scorched earth, and as we approach the vast industrial chamber, we can already hear the pounding hum of machinery, with dissonant percussions pacing the production chain. The ominous vibration shakes the ground resulting in a steady time warped tekno thumping.

In Grimdark we encounter the forces running this hypogeum plant, ancient creatures transformed by the same machines we built to guide us. After the steam produced by the cooling system has dissolved, we’re introduced to a marching rhythm, twisted by slow, steady and dark sequences, exploring dub dystopias.

Hidden is the final vision, what we have witnessed until this point can’t be unseen. Sparse percussions hit us from every angle while ghostly synthesizers emerge from the ground as we roam on the surface, awaiting the machine-god to rise again. If Grimdark was a glimpse of the future, Hidden is the first tangible sign of the fires to come. They have found the embers that will ignite the engines of a new world, ruled by sacred knowledge long forgotten, now reborn in biomechanic form.
