Wetware Echo presents Residual Image, a compilation aimed to collect different perspectives on a common theme: the hijacking, disassembly and recombination of sonic DNA. From woofer-shredding distorted soundscapes to hi-pressure rhythmic solutions, this collection of tracks represents the residual image of a common vision shared among thirteen different artists, each bringing their signature sound in a narrative continuum exploring different evolutionary branches. Spanning across a broad spectrum of genres and moods, what emerges is a future-proof pool of sound data, ready and open to be re-encoded differently at each listen.
